SUNY Brockport's academic standards place rigorous demands on students.  At the Student Learning Center (SLC), we encourage all Brockport students, whether entering directly from high school, transferring from another institution, or returning to college after a period of absence, to sharpen their writing, math, and study skills, and to learn new computer skills to meet the challenges of college-level work. The Student Learning Center provides a wide variety of academic support services during the fall and spring semesters to meet these student needs.
