Academic Affairs Committee on Restructuring

Provost Huot has called together a group to offer suggestions for revision of the structure of the Division of Academic Affairs. This group is charged with:

  • Facilitation of campuswide discussion centered on the best ways to position The College to achieve its missions and to successfully implement our strategic initiatives
  • Examination and identification of commonalities among the academic and nonacademic programs in the three schools for purposes of grouping/regrouping them into major curricular units that take advantage of their natural affinities
  • Transparency - i.e. keeping the College community informed
  • Development of up to three alternate models of organization by mid-March, 2009
