Using PowerPoint 2003 Templates

To use the Brockport PowerPoint 2003 templates, follows these steps below.

If you have not already done so, download the two Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 templates (gray and white) here:

White - brockport_template_white.pot

Gray - brockport_template_gray.pot

Save them to your My Documents folder. If they were saved to the Desktop, move them to the My Documents folder.
To use the templates, open up PowerPoint. From the top menu, select Format --> Slide Design.

The Slide Design Task Pane appears on the left.

Underneath Apply a design template:, on the bottom, click the Browse link.
In the Apply Design Template window, select My Documents from the left, and select one of the Brockport templates listed (.pot files), then click Apply.

You can now begin making a PowerPoint Presentation using this template.
After this, both templates should be available for use by selecting Format --> Slide Design under Available For Use, or by selecting File --> New, and in the Right Task Pane selecting From design template.

If for some reason both templates do not appear, repeat steps 2 and 3 for the other .pot file.
