Using PowerPoint 2007 Templates

To use the Brockport PowerPoint 2007 templates, follows these steps below.

If you have not already done so, download the two Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 templates (gray and white) here:

White - brockport_template_white.potx

Gray - brockport_template_gray.potx

Save them to your My Documents folder. If they were saved to the Desktop, move them to the My Documents folder.
To use the templates, open up PowerPoint 2007.
Select the Design tab from the top ribbon. Select the More button .
Select Browse for Themes.
In the window that appears, select one of the .potx files and click Apply.
Next, select the More button again and select Save Current Theme.

Name the file “Brockport Gray.thmx” for the Gray template or "Brockport White.thmx" for the White template (or whatever you like). Click Save.
Repeat Steps 3 - 6 for the other template.
After this, you should be able to use the templates by simply selecting Design, clicking the More button , and selecting a Brockport Template from the Custom area.
