MetroCenter

The SUNY Brockport MetroCenter provides students with convenient access to SUNY Brockport in downtown Rochester. Undergraduate and graduate courses are offered days, evenings, and on weekends and the MetroCenter offers students many services, instructional technology resources and assistance.

SUNY Student Resource Center

Within walking distance of the MetroCenter is the SUNY Student Resource Center (SRC), located in the Central Library at 115 South Avenue. The SRC provides library services, computer access, study rooms, reserve materials, and telecourse tapes for all SUNY Brockport students with a Brockport ID.

SUNY Learning Network

Online courses are offered asynchronously (i.e., anytime, anywhere) by accessing the Internet via the World Wide Web. To take an SLN course, you simply need to have access to a computer with a connection to the Internet (whether at home, school, or work), possess or be willing to learn basic computer skills, and have the ability to work independently and keep yourself on schedule with your studies. SLN is a SUNY program that supports SUNY campuses working collaboratively to offer distance-learning courses and degree programs. For more information about SUNY Brockport's SLN courses, call (585) 395-5734; OR e-mail us at sln@brockport.edu.

Telecourses

Offered in many different subject areas each semester, telecourses require viewing of weekly television programs, combined with seven to eight class meetings. They require a great deal of independent study and self-motivation and are offered on the main campus and at the SUNY Brockport MetroCenter. For more information about SUNY Brockport's telecourse offerings, call (585) 395-5726; OR e-mail us at telecourse@brockport.edu.
