Spend a semester in Washington interning in a government or public policy office and earn up to 16 credits through the Brockport Washington Program. The program provides students with direct involvement in the policy-making process and illuminates the relationship between academic knowledge and a practical understanding of the real world.
The College at Brockport provides students who need scheduling flexibility the option to take courses in a modern and convenient format. Students may choose to take either telecourses or online courses (through the SUNY Learning Network). Both options cover the same level and amount of academic material as one would find in a traditional classroom-based course, but include more independent study and academic self-direction.
Army ROTCBrockport also is host to its own ROTC program, which is unique in the SUNY system. Army ROTC is an elective curriculum you take along with your required college classes. It prepares you with the tools; training and experiences that will help you succeed in any competitive environment. Along with great leadership training, Army ROTC can pay for your college tuition, too.
