Institutional Effectiveness and Accountability

President Halstead
The College at Brockport, State University of New York, is a true learning community in which students, faculty, and staff all contribute to and celebrate the success of others.

Two years ago we launched Strategic Plan 2011-2016, our roadmap to becoming a nationally recognized comprehensive master’s institution focused on student success. To meet this goal, the Strategic Plan articulates four major constructs, linkages among those constructs, measurable outcomes from the constructs, and benchmarks from which to measure them.

Ensuring institutional effectiveness is imperative to providing our students with a transformational educational experience. As we move through the Strategic Plan we will close the loop by collecting and assessing data in order to determine the steps necessary to continually improve while aligning available resources with College priorities.

Within this section of our website you will find detailed information about our students, our Strategic Plan, divisional assessments, diversity initiatives, facilities planning, and much, much more. I am confident that if you study this information you will understand why everything at The College at Brockport centers around our core mission of student success.
