  • Transfer student acceptance rate is 57.8% for fall 2008.
  • About 1250 students transfer to Brockport annually.
  • About 55% are women.
  • Students transfer from nearly 130 colleges and universities.
  • About half of the students transfer from community colleges in New York state, primarily in western NY counties (Genesee, Orleans, Ontario, Erie, Wayne).
  • More than 70% of the students who transfer from SUNY Community Colleges transfer from MCC, GCC, FLCC, and Herkimer CC.
  • More than half of all transfer students enter Brockport with 54 credits or more (Junior level or higher).
  • About half of the transfer students enter Brockport with an associate degree.
  • More transfer students study in two of the three schools (School of Letter & Sciences; School of Profession).
  • The top majors for transfer students are Physical Education, Business Administration, Criminal
    Justice, Nursing and English.
  • The average transfer grade point average for the first semester is 2.8.
