Our Special Events Recreation Center (SERC) is a venue for campus concerts, sporting events, commencements and community activities, with a 5,500-seat capacity. The facility includes an indoor track, fitness center and indoor throwing cage for shot put and discus. State-of-the-art fitness/wellness components comprise cardiovascular, free weights and strength-circuit training areas and a multi-purpose exercise room.

The Health Center is open to all Brockport students and has walk-in hours Monday through Saturday. Student also have access to our Counseling Center.
Brockport is a safe and secure campus for students, faculty and staff. All University Police officers are certified police officers with full arrest powers. Officers not only patrol campus, but also provide safety education courses and training for students.
We have 47 blue light phones located throughout campus, which provide immediate access to University Police to report an emergency or request assistance.
University Police also offers a service where students can request an officer or Student Patrol member to escort them to their car or residence hall, any time of day or night, to ensure additional safety on campus.
