Most unique Brockport experience: Brockport-the-Port -- At the end of the year, Brockport Student Government (BSG) puts on an end of the year celebration of concerts, free food and T-shirts. Always a blast!
Favorite thing about Brockport: The FOOD!!
Favorite food on campus: Harrison Dining Hall
Favorite place to study: The private study rooms in the library
One class that every student should take before graduating from Brockport: Improv Theatre
Favorite way to stay active on campus: SERC! Open hoops and the amazing fitness center.
5 most important things a freshman should bring to campus:
- rain boots/ umbrella for all the rainy days in Brockport
- Red Bull, coffee, or some caffeinated drink for late night study sessions
- alarm clock -- it's tough getting up for your 8am class when you didn't get to bed much before 3am
- USB drive -- you don't want to lose your work if your computer crashes or you can't find them on the school's computer
- lanyard for your keys and ID card -- it's an easy way to keep it all together so you don't lose them.
