Interesting fact: I have studies abroad twice -- once for a summer program in Costa Rica and then for a semester in the south of Spain. I also backpacked through Europe for a month.

Most unique Brockport experience: Meeting wonderful and inspiring people who have opened my mind and helped me to realize and explore what I am passionate about.

Favorite thing about Brockport: My favorite thing about Brockport is the fact that over these past few years I have had a wonderful college experience and I am going to miss every moment when I graduate!

Favorite food on campus: Caramel Dream Shake from Jitterbugs and anything from Carmen’s in the Union Square

Favorite place to study: The good 'ole library!

Favorite campus-sponsored event: Brock-the-Port! I think all students look forward to it year round!

One class that every student should take before graduating from Brockport: Any class of History Professor John Daly and a Recreation and Leisure class found under Professions, called Field Experience. Both are too go to not experience when attending The College at Brockport.

Favorite way to stay active on campus: Put the weight room in the SERC to good use! Also open hoops and racquetball will really give you a good workout.

5 most important things a freshman should bring to campus:

  • a winter coat
  • medicine for cold season
  • games for a rainy day
  • a jar of peanut butter
  • a watch so you never get caught looking at the clock during class

Favorite off-campus event: Rochester Public Market in the Fall

Dream job: To travel all over and be happy

Favorite quote: "You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore."

Why did you want to be a Tour Guide?: I think being a tour guide can be so influential! A tour guide should help show you whether the university is going to be a good fit for you or not. Having had some funny, but awful tour guides in the past, I made it my goal to be a good tour guide -- despite my corney jokes!
