Interesting fact: I had my arm almost bitten off by an alligator.
Most unique Brockport experience: Being a star on the main stage in Festival of 10! It was so amazing to act in front of all those people in a wedding dress!
Favorite thing about Brockport: How nice and friendly everyone is. Compared to Long Island, everyone here is more down-to-earth. The students here understand their roots and stay true to them.
Favorite place to study: My room. I get everything done there. But the empty classrooms are always great too!
Favorite campus-sponsored event: Any event with music! I love hearing live bands play.
Favorite food on campus: Jack Daniels chicken!
Favorite way to stay active on campus: Join clubs! I am in a lot of them! They keep you engaged with others that have similar interests as you. You get to make friends and still be goal-oriented together as a team!
One class that every student should take before graduating from Brockport: Natural Disasters. I am a huge weather geek and I think it would engage students due to the interesting topics talked about. Especially because of recent events like Hurricane Sandy.
5 most important things a freshman should bring to campus:
Favorite off-campus place: I love Holley Falls. That spot is by far the most beautiful place in our area.
Favorite quote: “Every action, there’s a reaction; we’ll figure it out and make it happen.”
Why did you want to become a Student Ambassador?: I wanted to share my love of Brockport with others so that they can have as great an experience as I did. I also want to tell people the honest information that every freshman needs to know and hope that Brockport will fulfill that need.
