Interesting fact: I was one of the first students from Brockport to study abroad for a semester at the University of Stavanger in Stavanger, Norway.

Most unique Brockport experience: When I performed Professor Mariah Maloney's piece at Jacob's Pillow on the Inside Out stage.

Favorite thing about Brockport: My favorite thing about Brockport is the variety of ways in which a person can become involved, whether it is academic opportunities, clubs, sports, personal development, etc.

Favorite food on campus: Kinetic Kafe stir fry

Favorite place to study: I love studying in my own room. It is a comfortable place to be, I can listen to music, and I am able to sprawl out all of my work materials.

Favorite campus-sponsored event: The spring and fall concerts!

Favorite way to stay active on campus: Going to our beautiful SERC.

One class that every student should take before graduating from Brockport: Improv Theatre

5 most important things a freshman should bring to campus:

  • a positive attitude and open mind
  • a fan
  • rain boots & umbrella
  • a planner
  • camera to document all of the wonderful memories you will have throughout your time at Brockport

Favorite off-campus place: The Erie Canal

Favorite quote: "The only man who makes no mistakes is the man who does nothing." -- Theodore Roosevelt

Why did you want to become a Student Ambassador?: I wanted to be a resource for students who are making one of the biggest transitions of their lives! I want to inform people about all of the things Brockport has to offer. Change is always easier when you know someone who has truly enjoyed their experience.
