Interesting fact: I've been playing soccer since I was 7 years old, and I have been singing in choir since the second grade.

Most unique Brockport experience: I love how quickly I became acclimated to campus. I started as a transfer not knowing anyone to now working in Undergraduate Admissions and enjoying my time here.

Favorite thing about Brockport: The people. Without a doubt, this campus is a great community. The students and faculty really strive to help one another succeed.

Favorite place to study: In an individual study room on the second floor of the library

Favorite campus-sponsored event: Party at the Port!

Favorite food on campus: Hot dogs at Harrison or calzones from Trax

Favorite way to stay active on campus: I love going to the SERC with friends.

One class that every student should take before graduating from Brockport: Intro to Sociology. It is important to see how people interact and what our patterns of behavior are. This can be helpful in any career.

5 most important things a freshman should bring to campus:

  • an academic planner
  • rain gear
  • a positive, open mind
  • many pictures and fun things to decorate your room to feel like home
  • Ramen Noodles -- they are a staple food group

Favorite off-campus place: Monday Night Wing Night at the Stoneyard -- 25 cent wings!

Favorite quote: "It is not the amount of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away."

Why did you want to become Student Director of Transfer Admissions?: People were extremely helpful to me when I transferred in; it made everything a lot easier. I want to be the one to help make other people's transition into college a fun experience. I want to show everything Brockport has to offer!
