Interesting fact: I am Asian American which is half Vietnamese. Cultural awareness and acceptance is really prominent in my life.
Most unique Brockport experience: Joining the rugby team my freshman year! It was completely new to me and out of my comfort zone, but such a unique and amazing experience. I’m so glad I decided to try it.
Favorite thing about Brockport: The people I’ve met and yet to meet! Friends, students, faculty and staff included, it’s been an amazing experience so far.
Favorite food on campus: Turkey Bravo sandwiches are absolutely the way to go!
Favorite place to study: In a quiet place with lots of space where I can listen to my music. I prefer the group study rooms on the third floor of the library.
Favorite campus sponsored event: The concerts put on by BSG!
One class that every student should take before graduating from Brockport: Definitely Improv! It’s so much fun, even at 8am.
Favorite way to stay active on campus: SERC group exercise classes!
Favorite off-campus event/ location: The Brockport diner, their French Onion Soup is my go to and comfort food!
5 most important things a freshman should bring to campus?:
Why did you want to be a tour guide?: I want to be able to share the positive experience I’ve had at the College at Brockport with prospective students.
