Specialized Programs

Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)
A program for students with a minimum 78 GPA and 800 SAT. It provides assistance in the form of academic advisement, college adjustment, financial aid, personal/interpersonal counseling, career assistance and tutoring.

C-STEP
A program for those who are of low-income or members of a historically underrepresented minority group, and who are interested in the fields of math, science, health professions or technology programs leading to licensure. C-STEP provides students with a faculty mentor, academic support, financial assistance for standardized test preparation, skill building seminars and internships.

McNair Program
Through academic, financial and administrative assistance, the Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program assists eligible students in applying for study leading to a PhD.

Student Support Services Program (SSSP)
SSSP assists students in completing a college degree with the highest GPA possible by providing academic advisement, one-to-one tutoring, personal and career counseling, and by offering free access to campus social and cultural events.

Office for Students with Disabilities
The Office for Students with Disabilities provides support and assistance to students with medical, physical, emotional or learning disabilities, especially those experiencing problems in areas such as academic program, career choice, or adjustment to the college experience and campus environment.
