With 48 undergraduate majors to choose from, academics at Brockport combine liberal arts with professional studies, critical thinking with experiential learning, and personal fulfillment with community service.  You'll be able to conduct original research, pursue scholarly works and creative projects, complete internships, study abroad, and participate in specialized academic programs like Delta College and the Honors Program. At the core of our academic programs is an award-winning faculty who will challenge, inspire and advise you to make sure that your college experience leads to a lifetime of success.      About Our Faculty

    Among the 560 faculty at The College at Brockport, there are physicists, Tony-award winners, artists, philosophers, writers, mathematicians, researchers, and Fulbright Scholars. But most important, they are devoted teachers. The faculty-student relationship is the heart of the Brockport experience. It is based on love of learning, mutual respect, and collaboration. Our professors are mentors and advisors, inspiring each student to explore, question, and exceed their own expectations for achievement.

    The College at Brockport has 26 Distinguished Faculty, the highest faculty ranking in the State University of New York. Ninety-two faculty members have received the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching, 16 are Fulbright Scholars and 90% hold the highest degree in their fields.
