Athletics
Physical fitness is an important part of a Brockport education. Exercise keeps your body strong and your mind sharp, improves your overall college performance and increases your energy. Visit our campus and you'll see students walking, jogging, playing softball, and biking. Every day at Brockport, we encourage the scholar-athlete in every student.
Whether you want to join an intercollegiate team or take a dance class, Brockport has some of the best athletic and fitness facilities in the SUNY system. For daily exercise, we have a 2,000 seat ice arena; an Olympic-size pool; weight and gymnastic rooms; handball, racquetball, tennis and squash courts; five gymnasiums, and paths along the Erie Canal for biking and cross-country skiing.
For team players, Brockport has a 10,000 seat outdoor stadium, a baseball complex, soccer fields, and more. We are an NCAA Division III member, and our “Golden Eagle” intercollegiate sports program is for men's and women's competition in team sports including:
Baseball |
Wrestling Gymnastics Tennis Volleyball Swimming and Diving Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field |
You can also participate in intramural sports ranging from basketball to broomball to ultimate Frisbee. Whatever your athletic level, you'll find plenty of opportunities for play at Brockport.
