It was far away from home but close enough to some relatives who live in Rochester.
What is your most memorable experience at Brockport?
When President Obama won the presidency, a bunch of students ran out screaming "OBAMA"! It was a fun time.
What is your favorite thing about Brockport?
My favorite thing about Brockport has got to be the College’s ability to grow. From the townhomes to residence hall renovations to the new recreational center, Brockport is always looking for ways to improve for the students.
Who was your favorite professor at Brockport?
Mrs. Perez was my favorite professor, she taught Language Literacy II for the Education department. She is retired now but she made her last year a fun one. She was an amazing professor who truly cared for the students.
How would you describe your faculty?
The faculty was kind and caring. Brockport has many faculty members who genuinely care. I was always fortunate to have the right professors and mentors on campus.
How did Brockport prepare you for your career of choice?
How has your experience at Brockport shaped your life?
Brockport and the people at Brockport are responsible for the man I am today. If I compare myself now to my senior year of high school, I see how Brockport has made me the professional I am today. With the all the leadership programs that Brockport has offered me, and the titles I’ve accumulated on campus including being a resident assistant and working as an instructor for EOP, I am confident and ready to take on any task that is at hand.
What is one thing every student needs to try at Brockport?
I think that all students should try a garbage plate from Jimmy Z’s at least once.

Quote: "They say you should always live your life as if each day was your last. But I think that is bull****. I say live like you will make it to 100. Work hard, save money, take care of your body and most importantly, always look forward to the future!"
