What is your most memorable experience from your first year at Brockport?
My memorable experience in Brockport would have to be moving in. Due to the fact that I knew not one person here all I could think about was who was I going to meet, what was I going to do here, and would I enjoy my four years here. All these unanswered questions were answered within the first week here and I loved it!
Why did you choose Brockport?
I choose Brockport for many different reasons. One specific reason was the dance program, which is unbelievable. It gives me everything and anything I need to become a successful professional dancer.
What is your favorite thing about Brockport?
My favorite thing here at Brockport would have to be the help that you are able to access. Being a somewhat smaller college I feel you can get on a personal level with every professor you have. I also enjoy the smaller classes because you can receive one on one help if needed.
What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?
Be open minded with everything. Whatever it is think about doing it and maybe you will enjoy it.
What advice would you give to incoming transfer students?
Try to get involved as much as possible. The more you are involved the more friends you’ll make, and the more successful you will be.
What is one thing students should never leave at home when packing for college?
Any special belongings that you have. Whatever makes you happy that you have at home, bring it with you to school!
