What is your most memorable experience at Brockport?
My most memorable experience was right before freshman year at Brockport. I am an EOP student, so I was here the summer before I started my freshman year. I have to say that being a part of this program has given me life lasting friendships and the best moments of my college experience. For example, during this program I was able to enjoy a whole day at Darien Lake Theme Park with some of my closet friends and this was the beginning of some grand adventures Brockport had to offer me.
Why did you choose Brockport?
I chose Brockport because of its diversity. I wanted to attend a college were I could feel comfortable making new friends and be motivated to come out of my comfort zone.
What is your favorite thing about Brockport?
Brockport always has something to offer people who want to become involved on campus. There are a lot of clubs and the student government is always accepting new ideas for clubs that we do not have.
Who is your favorite professor at Brockport?
My favorite professor is Karen Logsdon. She was enthusiastic and always asked for the opinion of her students.
What should a future student never leave at home for college?
DO NOT leave home without a blanket and fan. Although Brockport is an incredible campus, the temperature does change.
What advice would you give to incoming students?
Learn how to manage your time. In college, you need to learn how to balance your social life as well as your academics.
