Class Year: 2005
What you are doing now: I am currently a math teacher at East High School in Rochester, NY. I also have been a wrestling coach for nine years at West Irondequoit High School. I am the coordinator of Project Math 8, which brought 300 volunteer tutors to East High School to tutor all 7th and 8th grade students before the State Math Assessments. I also am the founder of ROC E6.

Most memorable Brockport moment: Walking across the lawn after turning in my graduate thesis – it was such a calm peace that I was oblivious to my surroundings.
Most interesting life experience: The birth of my son, Styles Allen.
Most famous person I have met: Tupac Shakur
Last book read: The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell

Favorite vacation spot: Hawaii

What do you want to be doing next year: Working on a doctorate degree, and on ROC E6, Inc full time.
What do you want to be doing in 20 years: Working for the city of Rochester in some improvement plan.
Message to the students of today: We need to take notice of the still-prevalent disparity in our races. Relationships allow you to talk about anything with anyone. Go out and meet people who do not look like you.
