What you are doing now: After 36 years serving as a university professor, my new job is golf in the summer and skiing in the winter. And, does it ever beat working!
Favorite class at Brockport: Statistics even though I barely passed it!
Favorite professor at Brockport: Gerald D'Agostino - he cared!
Most memorable Brockport moment: Walking across campus and hearing of the John Kennedy assassination
Most interesting life experience: Being blessed with two wonderful children and two terrific grandchildren
Most famous person I have met: George Bush, Jr.
Last book read: 100 People Who Are Screwing Up America by Bernard Goldberg
CD most likely to find in your stereo: Smooth Jazz
Favorite movie: Must Have Dogs
Favorite vacation spot: Palm Springs, CA, in the winter; Santa Fe, NM, in the summer
Family (spouse, children): Theresa Ann & Suzanne Daniel (daughters) - Jake, 11 & Rachel, 9 (grandchildren)
What you want to be doing next year: Playing golf on the Senior Tour - now wouldn't that be fun!
What you want to be doing in 20 years: Reincarnate and maybe do it better the second time.
Message to the students of today: Breathe! Work hard, play hard and never take yourself too seriously. Be there for your family, friends and colleagues. But most important, know that you made a positive difference and the world is a better place for having allowed you to take part.
