Message to the Students of Today: Your college experience may be what you are creating on the outside, but it's what's on the inside, your character, that will determine if you are a success or failure. Consequently, each student has a responsibility to graduate and go out and make a difference. There is no obstacle you can’t overcome. There is a saying that as you grow older you are wiser but the only guarantee is that you will grow older. Wisdom is up to you. How will you take what you’ve learned and use it as a contribution to society?
My charge to each student is that as you leave the walls of higher learning, go forth with your eyes wide open, embrace the global community and all of its challenges. You have the answer to a better life, a better world and we, the collective we, must make a difference from Iraq to the inner-city streets. So, wherever the road may lead you tomorrow, next month, or next year, you will always have a high-quality education. You are poised to meet the challenges that today’s competitive world holds.
