Rita G. Devine '55 is still active in community service programs, including St. Mary's Pastoral Council and as a Eucharistic minister in Granville, NY.

Betty A. Bartkowiak '57 has been retired for 23 years and is still playing competitive tennis in a Space Coast League and enjoys golf.

1970s

Donna Ross '77 accepted a new position with Corning Incorporated in Corning, NY, as an Information Protection Officer/Risk Manager.

1980s

Michele (Manogue) LaDue '85 has had a 20-year career at Preferred Care/MVP Health Care in Rochester where she was recently promoted to a Claims Dept Supervisor.  Michelle has two children, Sierra (16) and Lydia (8).

Darlene (Thompson) Trento '81 is the owner of Bittersweet, an eclectic gift shop and boutique in the heart of the Village of Brockport (on Main Street), which she has owned for the past 27 years.  For what she thought would be a temporary stay in the quaint village while attending Brockport, she fell in love with the area and never left.

CORRECTION:  Molly (Stolarcyk) Nolan '91 is a realtor with HUNT, ERA Columbus division, and her husband, Kevin Nolan '92 is a Senior Food Specialist with O-AT-KA Milk Products in Batavia, NY.

Missy Pfohl Smith '92 announced the Rochester debut concert of BIODANCE, Webs We Weave , that Smith directed and choreographed. It will be held at the University of Rochester's Spurrier Studio on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at 7:30pm. Founded in 2002 in New York City, BIODANCE has since relocated to Rochester and has re-established itself with a diverse company of regional professional performers. Through BIODANCE, a non-profit contemporary dance company, Smith creates innovative work often by exploring environmental issues through collaboration with national multi-media artists.  Her work, riddled with political and ethical matters, asks questions in theatrical, comical and unconventional ways, always through dance, and sometimes with text, film, music and ice cream. 

R. Thomas Fregoe '97 is employed as a Senior Gamings Operations Inspector with the New York State Racing and Wagering Board.

Sal Galvano '98 has been named the head coach of the Monroe Community College women's soccer program.  Galvano, a native of Rochester and a graduate of Gates Chili High School, spent the past two years as the men's soccer coach at Mesa Community College in Mesa, AZ. He led the Thunderbirds to the semifinals of the 2007 Arizona Community College Athletic Association tournament.

Chuck Mitrano '99, Empire 8 Commissioner, was selected as recipient of the 2008 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Jostens Male Administrator of the Year.  The award is presented annually to administrators from ECAC member schools or conferences in recognition of outstanding or meritorious service to the ECAC.  Mitrano, the first commissioner in any division to earn this distinction, will receive the award in late September at the ECAC Convention Honors Dinner.

2000s

Aaron Skinner '01 recently changed careers from law to acting and will be co-starring in the series finale of "The Shield."  He also will be co-starring in a Hallmark film, "The Glass Seagull."

Jason Land '05 accepted a job as probation and parole agent for the State of Wyoming.

Dale Buck '08 participated in an individual personal workout for the Buffalo Bills coaching staff at their training camp facility on the St. John Fisher College campus in Pittsford, NY. He was a dominant player this past season for the Rochester Raiders (indoor football) on the defensive line.

Matthew T. Derx '08 was hired by Lumsden & McCormick, LLP, Certified Public Accountants as a staff accountant.

Yvonne Sander '73 and Charles Pardee were married in July 2006.

Samantha Schanne '95 and Spencer Fisher were married on August 17, 2007.

Lisa Dennison '03 and Michael Knapp were married on March 29, 2008.

Births

Linda J. Ruggles '87/'89 announces the birth of a daughter, Ava Rose Madeleine Wood Ruggles, on May 27, 2007.

Lynnette (Grey) Regan '88 and Charles Regan '90 welcome the arrival of a new daughter, Elise Danielle, on January 29, 2008.

Scott P. Jason '92 and his wife, Diane, announce the birth of their son, Matthew Ryan, born on June 13, 2007. He joins sister, Hannah Leanne, age 7.

Rebecca (Linsky) Reich '93 and husband, Marc, welcome twins Carly Rose and Maci Wynn, born on February 13, 2008.  They join big sister, Samantha.

Christa (Geise) Aldrich '93 and husband, Jeffrey, announce the birth of a son, Nathan Jeffrey Charles Aldrich, on April 16, 2008.

Samantha (Schanne) Fisher '95 and husband, Spencer, announce the birth of twins, Mikaela Jean and Sebastian Francis, on October 8, 2007.

Kelly (Phillips) Kenney '96 and husband, William, announce the birth of Shane Andrew on March 11, 2008.

Christopher Tiffany '96 and wife, Alicia, announce the birth of their daughter, Calleigh Elizabeth, on May 10, 2008.

R. Thomas Fregoe '97 and wife, Jessica, adopted their daughter, Campbell, in 2006 and enjoyed the birth of their son, Cade, in 2007.

Dennis R. Pynn II '98 and wife, Catherine, announce the birth of a son, John Finnegan "Jack" Pynn, on May 6, 2008.  He joins big sister, Murphy, age 3.

Eric Lambalzer '00 and Cassandra (Rosh) Lambalzer '01 announce the birth of their second daughter, Kelsey Ann, born on December 31, 2007.  She joins sister, Kaitlyn Mae.
