Anjani (Marie) Cirillo '67 has been chosen as Woman of the Year in her community in Sebastian, FL.
J. Pat Deyle '67 retired in 2007 as manager of marketing and sales at Hy-Tech Machine Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA. Peggy Deyle '67 is still operating her Collectable Teddy Bears business and both are living at Raquette Lake, NY.
Bob Casullo '73 will serve as assistant head coach, special-teams coordinator and tight ends coach of the Syracuse University football team.
Nancy Hewitt '74 will be serving as the Pitt Professor of American History at Cambridge University, England, from July 2009 through June 2010. Hewitt will be on leave from Rutgers University, where she is Professor of History & Women's Studies.
Dan Zachofsky '74 had his fourth book published in May, Collecting Baseball Memorabilia: A Handbook, second edition. This work provides handy information about collecting different types of baseball memorabilia, an informative guide to acquiring the signatures of each living member of the Hall of Fame, the most successful ways to authenticate memorabilia, and the process of designing a memorabilia room and display. Dan also is in his 34th year as program director at Camp Olympiad, a program for mentally and physically challenged participants.
Bonnie V. Buongiorne '76 is the founder of Ray of Light Farm Inc., in East Haddam, CT. Ray of Light Farm is a non-profit animal rescue and animal-assisted therapy center committed to helping people make a positive connection with life through animals. Bonnie received her master's degree in 2009 at the Hartford Seminary in Connecticut.
Jerry Corigliano '76 has been inducted into the Rome (NY) Sports Hall of Fame for a lifetime of excellence in sports.
Judith A. Treu '77 is a research associate at the Yale Prevention Research Center, working on health promotion projects (nutrition and physical activity) for children and adults.
Audrey Cooper '78 has been selected for the Hilton High School Alumni Hall of Fame. She will join the Hall of Fame's 31 other outstanding graduates. Formal induction ceremonies are expected in the fall. Cooper is an administrator for trusts and estates, general civil litigation, appointments in Supreme, Surrogate's Family and City Court and former member of the Hilton Central School District Board of Education.
Roger Crosley '78 recently received the 2009 Jack Grinold SID/Media Award for "a person who promotes the game of football above the ordinary,"from MasterSports, an organization that raises money to provide college scholarships to underprivileged potential college football players. Crosley also recently received a 25-year service award from the Eastern College Athletic Conference - Sports Information Directors Association.
Melissa McMahon '88 has been named the chief program officer of the Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter. She directs the chapter's outreach and education programs, including the delivery of the chapter's core service program. She also manages the Kirkpatrick Day Program — Syracuse's only dementia-specific day program. McMahon has been with the chapter since 2001 and was previously the chapter's day program director.
Sheila L. Sutton-Pickett '90, Fraud Investigator for State Farm Insurance, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of claims investigation.
Jim Mann '93, since joining BCC Software in 1996, has gained experience in nearly every department in the company. His most recent role, as Vice President of Software Development and Customer Services, allowed him to oversee the core competencies that have established BCC's leadership position in the mailing industry. Mann is a member of the Mailing & Fulfillment Services Association (MFSA) Technology Committee.
Amy Gannon '94 was hired as the assistant day program director of the Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter in May. Gannon, a certified therapeutic recreation specialist, came to the Chapter from Mercy Rehabilitation Center in Auburn, where she was the director of therapeutic recreation. In her role with the chapter, she will manage the day program staff, handle all intake and discharge from the program and plan activities for the participants of the program.
Thomas W. Ryan '94 was selected for the Baltimore Police City SWAT Team in September 2008. Ryan also has completed two SWAT schools and a Tactical Maritime Assault School.
Irene Fink '97 has been promoted to Director of Television Programming at WXXI. Irene will be responsible for programming strategy and scheduling on WXXI's television stations and on City 12.
Douglas R. Smith '99 is an associate at Kloss, Stenger & LoTempio. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University at Buffalo Law School in 2008 and is registered to practice before United States Patent and Trademark Office. Smith concentrates his practice on intellectual property matters including patent, trademark, copyright prosecution and infringement litigation.
Steve Williams '00 will leave his baseball coaching position and pursue his career as a principal at the Chopticon School (MD). Williams led the Braves to the best record in the county while being named All-County coach of the year.
Todd Pipitone '03 has successfully completed the Examination for Accreditation in Public Relations, allowing him to use the APR professional designation as the marketing coordinator for the Hillside Family of Agencies.
Kory Merritt '07, an award-winning cartoonist and past winner of the John Locher Memorial Award, will present " 'Espresso' Yourself" for children entering grade six and older. In the summer program at Richmond Memorial Library in Batavia, Merritt will explain a technique that involves painting with coffee.
Karen Howard '08 was one of 25 artists featured at the Corn Hill Arts Festival as part of the festival's first Emerging Artists Expo. Howard is a designer of graphic comic books who crafts her work online.

Becky Tarbell '08 married Arik Andrysiak on June 20, 2009 in Old Forge, NY. They honeymooned in Hawaii.
