Richard Schweichler '50 recently retired as chairman of the physical therapy department of Daemen College.

1960s

Bob Westcott '63, and his wife Joanne '68, recently retired and now reside in Florida.

1970s

Paul Barsky '78, former WYSP Philadelphia radio personality, is now doing afternoon drive at CBS Radio Sports KRLD-FM 105.3, The Fan/Dallas.  His long resume includes stints at several stations in Philadelphia, Houston and Chicago.

Robert Gross '78 has retired after a 26-year career with AT&T. When he retired in August, he was Associate Director - Work Force Management for U.S business call centers.  Bob and his partner, Tony, have relocated to Rancho Mirage, CA, after residing in San Francisco for 30 years.

1980s

William Shelp '83 has been working rural route delivery for the U.S. Postal Service.  He now covers the Olean, Scio, Andover and Cuba areas.

Michael Seinberg '85 has joined the staff at The New York State Dispute Resolution Association (NYSDRA) as the Marketing/Communications Specialist.  Prior to joining NYSDRA, Seinberg was president of Seinberg & Son Macintosh Consultants, LLC, the oldest independent Macintosh consulting company in the region.  He also is a columnist and photographer for the Altamont Enterprise.  Seinberg has an extensive background in desktop publishing, printing, and journalism having worked for the Leader-Herald in Gloversville and the Albany Times-Union.

1990s

Kymberly Bailey '92 a senior search consultant at Cochran, Cochran & Yale LLC, will be honored at the 15th annual Rochester Business Journal "Forty Under 40" awards.  A luncheon and presentation of awards will take place on November 17 at the Rochester Riverside Convention.

Josh Bouk '97, the vice president of customer services at Veramark Technologies Inc., will be honored at the 15th annual Rochester Business Journal "Forty Under 40" awards.  A luncheon and presentation of awards will take place on November 17 at the Rochester Riverside Convention.

Maria Thomas Fisher '97/'02, currently the 311 project leader for the City of Rochester, will be honored at the 15th annual Rochester Business Journal "Forty Under 40" awards.  A luncheon and presentation of awards will take place on November 17 at the Rochester Riverside Convention.

Mark Wilson '97 has been hired to serve the dual role of dean of students and athletic director at Potsdam High School.  Wilson, a physical education teacher at LaFayette Central School District in Onondaga County, will assume duties at Potsdam in November.

Jennifer Arbore '98, a partner at Eldredge, Fox & Porretti LLP, will be honored at the 15th annual Rochester Business Journal "Forty Under 40" awards.  A luncheon and presentation of awards will take place on November 17 at the Rochester Riverside Convention.

Chris Vernam '99 serves as the assistant director of financial aid at Alfred State College.  In this capacity, he is responsible for financial aid counseling and oversight of the work study program.  Prior to joining the campus community, Vernam served as a branch manager for Citizens Bank.

2000s

Jennifer Martlew '00, a senior audit manager at Insero & Co. CPAs P.C., will be honored at the 15th annual Rochester Business Journal "Forty Under 40" awards.  A luncheon and presentation of awards will take place on November 17 at the Rochester Riverside Convention.

Charity Nothnagle '00 recently started her own small business (a joint venture running a few softball leagues).  For more information on the leagues and who they are, please visit www.rocsoftball.com.

Jay Wegman '00, the vice president of Wegman Cos. Inc., will be honored at the 15th annual Rochester Business Journal "Forty Under 40" awards.  A luncheon and presentation of awards will take place on November 17 at the Rochester Riverside Convention.

Simon Solomon '05 recently married Karisna Andra.  Simon is employed as sports supervisor for the City of Oxford parks and recreation.

Corey Moran '06 accepted a new position at WVHT Hot 100.5 in Virginia Beach.

Anthony D'Ambra '07, a former NCAA Division III All-America wrestler and captain for two seasons at The College at Brockport, is the new Spencerport High School varsity wrestling coach.  D'Ambra was the school's varsity "B" wrestling coach last year.

Weddings

John Chajka '00 married Kristin Ault on September 26.

Jorja E. Hammill '00 married Michael C. Fahy on October 10.

Tara Margaret Higgins '01 married Brian James Morrissey on May 16.  

Sean Daniel Caswell '03 married Jennifer DeHollander on August 22.

Births

Linda Ruggles '87/'89 announces the birth of a daughter, Ava Rose, on May 27, 2007.

Daniel Olsen '96 and wife, Jennifer, announce the birth of triplets, Brooke, Jake and Derik, on September 23.

Sally Barton Dingee '99 and husband, Dean, welcomed a son, Connor Patrick Dingee, on February 21.  He joins big sister, Anna, 2 years old.  They reside in Chili.  Sally works at Monroe Community College.

Lori Case-Simpson '96 and husband, John, announce the birth of their daughter, MyLee Stella, born on, June 8.  MyLee joins big sister Mia Elizabeth.
