Weddings
Gene Kamrass '52 has been coaching middle and distance running for grade school, middle school and high school kids for the past six years and has developed State, National and world champions. He was recognized this past December by his athletes (past and present) at a gala birthday party for his 80th. He is still coaching cross country, indoor and outdoor track (year round and in all kinds of weather).
John Lindberg '57 is still coaching the girl's soccer team in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
Nancy Klobnak '65 taught 8th grade Social Studies in Gloucester Township Public Schools from 1976-2002. Nancy has been living in New Jersey, outside of Philadelphia since 1967. She married Gerald Klobnak in July of 1980, and they will be married 30 years this coming July. They have four grandchildren and also spend a lot of their retirement traveling and going to Phillies games.
Susan Kwas Maloney '67 just completed her tenure, as a trustee, at Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh, New York in January 2010. In addition, Susan, her husband, Joe & former board president, Richard Mainey completed a major capital campaign & Kresge Foundation Challenge Grant for the completion of the Kaplan Family Math, Science & Technology addition to Aquinas Hall. This June, Susan & Joe will be the honorees at this year's annual golf tournament at The Powelton Club, Newburgh, N.Y.
Ted Kawryga '73 is retiring from his superintendent position at Dolgeville Central School District.
Phyllis Contestable '78 was featured in the Democrat and Chronicle for her performance as Reverend Mother and her acting career around Rochester, NY.Mary Ellen Carlo '80 was named search services director of the career and talent management firm Career Partners International Buffalo Niagara.
Chris Pacilio '86 has been awarded the U.S. Youth Soccer National Administrator of the Year Award.
Dave Prevosti '03 was named the 2010 SUNYAC men's indoor track Coach of the Year and the NCAA Division III Atlantic Region Coach of the Year for his work as SUNY Geneseo's men's track coach.
Eric Evans '04 was the Yuma County (Yuma, AZ) New Teacher of the Year in 2004.
Kevin Collins '05 joined the Buffalo Sabres' organization five years ago as a conditioning coach for the Portland Pirates.
Hazel Sloper '07 was promoted to senior tax accountant for the Lumsden & McCormick public accounting firm.John Guarnieri '04 and Lucia Isabella Frangione exchanged wedding vows on June 27, 2009.
Gina Guidera Dier '99 & Michael Dier welcomed their first child, a daughter, on February 20, 2010.
