Joe Borrosh '58 has been elected to the NSCAA Hall-of-Fame.

1970s

Maria Sky Roach '72 will be retiring this year after 36 years in education, most recently having served as a school counselor for Valley Springs Middle School in Buncombe County, Arden, NC.

Peter Held '73 will have his new book, The Art of Toshiko Takaezu: In the Language of Silence published this February by the University of North Carolina Press.

Paul Purfield '74 will be retiring in June 2011 from the partnership at Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP.
 
Aliceann Wilber  '74 William Smith Soccer Head Coach appeared in the Dec. 23rd edition of Sports Illustrated in Faces in the Crowd.  As the only head coach in the program's 31-year history, Wilber led the Herons to an 18-3-3 mark last fall, tying the school record for wins in a season.

Lorraine Kaplan '75 recently received the Gerard H. Cohen Award from Boston University School of Law.

Blaine Schwartz '75 was appointed to the executive committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo.

Denise Murphy-McGraw '89 has become a partner in Hill, Gosdeck & McGraw, a Government Relations and Lobby firm that represents a variety of publicly traded corporations and trade associations in matters before the State and Federal Government.

1990s

Andrea Boccacino '90 is currently an Analyst - Product Development & Marketing at Nerac, Inc.

John Banek '92 has been appointed to the position of superintendent in the West Canada Valley School District.

Jennifer Ploetz Williams '95 has been elected to the partnership at Mackenzie Hughes LLP.

Rob Howell '97 is the new head coach for the Greece Lightning Hockey team.

2000s

Matt Dadey '00 won the state Adapted Physical Education Teacher of the Year through the Association for Health, PE, and Recreation and Dance.

Adam R. King '09 has been named the 2010-2011 First Year Teacher of the Year at Ventura Elementary school.  King teaches 5th grade for The School District of Osceola County in Florida.

James Kennedy '09 is in his first year as assistant track coach at (RPI) Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; specializing in shot put, discus, pole vault and javelin.

Roshelle Pavlin '85/'95 and William Wilson '85 tied the knot on November 27, 2010

Jason O'Mara '07 married Rachel Treat '07 on October 16, 2010
