1950s

Al Johnson '54 is an active member with the American Legion Post 134 as a Vice Commander and is doing volunteer work as needed with the Retired Teacher Organization. He has also written an autobiography, My Hope, My Dreams and My Life, and is now working on a new book, The Principle Role of the Principal: for teachers, principals and others.

Christine Lavin '73 has won an American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers Deems Taylor Award in the pop music books category for her memoir, Cold Pizza For Breakfast: A Mem-Wha??

Paul Giannone '74 wrote the book, Dear Kara, One Man's Journey From War to War, which is scheduled to be published in the next few weeks.

Paul Pape '74 was recently made a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Todd Lilly '75 has joined the faculty of the School of Education at Edgewood College in Madison, WI.

Susan Jones '77 celebrated twenty years at George Mason University this September and was promoted to Associate Provost and University Registrar.

Mark Pringle '79 has joined the faculty at Geneva City School district in the guidance department.

1980s

Timothy Bonomo '84 has been promoted to assistant professor in the Business Administration and Computing Division at Corning Community College in New York.

Christine Cook '84 the president and CEO of Capiche, LLC, has earned accreditation by iOpener Institute for People and Performance. She is the only iOpener accredited coach in the Pacific Northwest. iOpener is a company that focuses on keeping your employees happy in the workplace. She also received her master's degree in Management from Southern Oregon University this past June.

1990s

Paul Wendel '93 has announced his candidacy for the County Legislature's 18th District. He is the endorsed Republican candidate in the race.

2000s

Kevin Martz '03 was promoted to assistant professor in the Math/Physics/Technology/Engineering Division at Corning Community College in New York.

Kevin Collins '05 was named the strength and conditioning coach for the Columbus Blue Jackets NHL team.

Lauren Natti '08 has joined the faculty at Geneva City School district in their physical education department.

Melanie Plunkett '09 has joined the faculty at Geneva City School district as a special education teacher.

2010s

Jenna Smith '11 was selected as an assistant for the women's basketball team at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Marriages

Nicoli Gonnella '08 and Allyson Younis '09 tied the knot on May 14, 2011.

Melanie Wagner '99 and Darren Fazio '02 welcomed their first child, Dean, on May 3, 2011.
