Ray Scharf '61 competed in the National Senior Games in Cleveland. He placed third in the 50 yard freestyle, fourth in the 100, 200 and 500 yard freestyle events, fifth in the 50 yard breaststroke and sixth in the 100 yard breaststroke.
Tim Mains '75 was unanimously selected as the new superintendent for the Jamestown (NY) Public Schools.
Les Judd '79 is an adjunct professor at Lehman College in the Bronx and teaches about sustainability for the Adult Degree Program. Additionally, Judd is the founder and president of Green City Challenge, a non-profit organization with the mission of teaching people how to live, work and eat green.
Nick Adrian '04 is currently working on new episodes of the TV series Comic Book Men for AMC.
Jessica McLaughlin '07 joined the staff at WKBW (Buffalo's ABC affiliate) as a broadcast meteorologist.
Hilary Peacock '07 has been named to the position of recreation service manager at Asbury Pointe Retirement Community.
Casey Driscoll '12 and Michael J. Toland '11 along with Brockport faculty/staff Dr. Sara Margolin (Psychology) and Jennifer Kegler (Library) published the article: "E-readers, computer screens, or paper: Does reading comprehension change across media platforms?" in the Applied Cognitive Psychology Journal.
