Happy New Year from the Alumni Association!
As we enter into 2008, the Alumni Association and Alumni House Committee will be initiating a new program that will celebrate the gem of the Alumni Association: our historic Alumni House.
The program, First Fridays (PDF Document), will be a monthly event where the Alumni House will be open to the campus and local community. Those attending will be able to tour the entire Alumni House, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments and benefit from different monthly themes. The inaugural First Friday event will be February 1, 2008 from 4 to 6 pm. We will be dedicating a piano that was recently donated to the Alumni Association by Jon ’67 and Nancy ’67 Bell. There will be a short presentation and dedication ceremony to celebrate this generous gift.
Our goal is simple: open the Alumni House to the campus and community, have a place where people can relax and enjoy good food and friends, and celebrate the importance of keeping the Alumni House alive and active for those who continue to support it.
We hope that you and your friends will be able to join us for these exciting First Friday events. We have enclosed an informational flyer for you to post in a high traffic area so that all interested individuals can attend.
