The inaugural SUNY Brockport President’s Donor Recognition Dinner, a wonderful evening of celebration of philanthropy, was held on Saturday, May 5, 2007.
This was the first of what is intended to become a SUNY Brockport tradition and an annual event to honor our donors for their generous and visionary contributions which provide support for our commitment to student success in so many ways: much needed support for scholarships and awards, support for faculty development, academic programs, equipment and research, support for the arts and athletics, our library, campus beautification, and much more.
It was a special evening for the College because it brought benefactors together with faculty, students, alumni and friends and provided an opportunity to thank all for making good things happen at Brockport.
A highlight of the evening was the welcoming and thanking of members of the College’s new major Donor Recognition groups.
Brockport’s donor recognition groups were established to acknowledge and thank major benefactors for their generous contributions to the Brockport Foundation to help support the College’s mission and goals. Membership in these special groups is based on life-time contributions or confirmed planned gifts including gift annuities and bequests to the Foundation. The College is deeply grateful to all of the following major gift donors for their generous support.
The individuals highlighted below were in attendance that evening. By clicking on their names you will be taken to a brief bio and picture of them receiving their award.
