Walter Brautigan '63
Walter Brautigan is another pillar of the education community. He is revered by current and former students; generous beyond belief, with lifetime giving to a variety of funds within the College, including the Edward O. Stephany Fund; the Reichel, Foster and Luskey Awards; the Marion Schrank Student Leadership Award; and so many others. He has supported 28 funds with significant gifts through the years. He also is the resident gardener at the Albert W. Brown Building, planting and maintaining trees and flowers to beautify that corner of Brockport. We are all blessed to know him and appreciate everything he means to our College. His philanthropic support, as well as his impact on so many students, will be forever felt on our campus.
