Scott & Mary Worboys-Turner
Scott Turner and Mary Worboys Turner are very special friends of the College. Although neither attended the College, they have “adopted” SUNY Brockport as their College of choice. Scott, Managing Partner at Nixon Peabody, is a member of the College Council and the current chair, and has been actively engaged in many of the changes over the past 10 years. Nearly two years ago, he co-chaired the search committee that brought John Halstead to campus as our President. Mary is currently the chair of the Brockport Foundation, and you can find her quite often at the Foundation’s Office at the MetroCenter on St. Paul Street. She is an extraordinary volunteer leader and has played a key role in moving the Foundation forward. Both Scott and Mary have been very generous to their new school, Scott having started a fund in memory of his predecessor on the Council, Jim Keeler, and both having donated generously to numerous funds, including the Extraordinary Scholarship Program. Brockport is a much better place because of the outstanding volunteer leadership of this special couple.
