WHEC TV-10 LLC ( Arnold Klinsky)
During the College’s first Capital Campaign in the 1990s, the Foundation and the local NBC television affiliate in the area, WHEC TV, Channel 10, entered into an agreement that would assist students for years. Channel 10, which, at that time, signed an agreement with the College to house its Doppler radar on the top of Mortimer Hall, began funding a series of scholarships for students studying in the College’s very strong meteorology program. These two-year, $6,000 awards have continued, through the generosity of the station and the assistance of the man who is accepting the award on behalf of Channel 10, Mr. Arnold Klinsky. Brockport wishes to thank everyone at Channel 10 who has been a part of this partnership which we hope will continue far into the future. We welcome WHEC TV-10 into the Robert E. O’Brien Society.
