Willard & Judy Hunter
The College has never had an Institute. Until now. Wil and Judy Hunter have been active members of the College community for the better part of the past two decades. When Wil became a member of the Foundation Board back in the 1990s, he brought about positive change, much of which we are seeing today. His personal drive for excellence – which he forged early in his career as a business leader and entrepreneur – merged with his desire for Brockport to be its best. He and Judy struck up strong relationships with the leaders of the College and helped bring about a positive change within the culture of giving. Wil and Judy’s passion for learning among children has spawned the Hunter Institute for Young Children at SUNY Brockport, which is being established to support educational and scholarly activities by the College’s faculty and staff focusing on young childhood development and education. It is with great pleasure that we welcome Willard and Judy Hunter into the Donald M. Tower Society.
