Jacques & Dawn Lipson
Since becoming actively involved with the Foundation Board in 2000, this couple has adopted the College as one of its philanthropic favorites. Both still serve on our board; Jacques served as chair of the Foundation for multiple terms, bringing many of the current members onto the board. Dawn, who joined soon after Jacques, has chaired numerous committees and events. Soon after joining the Brockport family, the Lipson’s established a scholarship that benefits several students annually in the School of Arts and Performance. Never able to say no to a qualified applicant, they often provide assistance to more students than their fund agreement stipulates - much to the delight of their student recipients! It is an honor to acknowledge and recognize them for all they have done for SUNY Brockport over the past seven years.
