The Estate of Martin Rogers (Susan Edmunds accepting)
From 1945 through 1977, Martin Rogers was more than a faculty member at the College. Dr. Rogers was respected for his work in Recreation and Leisure Studies, as well as health science, coaching, administration and so many other areas where he lent his expertise to the students of Brockport. In 1993, to provide financial assistance to students in what was then the new master’s program in Recreation and Leisure Studies, he established an endowed scholarship. That scholarship has continued to grow and provides a tremendous scholarship each year to a very worthy student. We posthumously recognize Dr. Rogers for all the many ways he has given to the Foundation and the College.
