My name is Karen Webber '09/'10. I encourage you to stop and think for a minute about where you are right now, and how you got there. Chances are that your education at the College at Brockport played a role. Maybe you participated in a recruiting program here. Maybe you met your best friend here, or even your spouse. Wouldn't you like to give current and future students the same opportunities? Brockport has given each of us so much, now it's our turn to give back through becoming active alumni. That's why I chose to serve as the co-chair of the GOLD Leadership Board. I hope you choose to be involved in the group too. I hope to see you at a future GOLD alumni event! |

My name is Kevin Bates '10. Like many students, I left college without a clear vision of where I wanted my life to go but I know Brockport prepared me to succeed. Brockport gave me more than a degree; it gave me an opportunity to grow as a person and instilled in me a broad range of qualities. The sense of gratitude I have for my Alma Mater persuaded me to get involved with the GOLD program and I am confident that my sentiments are shared by all graduates of Brockport. With this knowledge, I urge any Graduates of the Last Decade visiting this site to strongly consider using your time, talents, and treasures to help make this program a success. |
