“Let’s Do Dinner!” Hits Brockport

Brockport, NY — Three local organizations will be hosting a Progressive Dinner Party that will serve as a fund-raising activity and community-building event for the area.

The College at Brockport Alumni Association, Sweden Senior Center and Western Monroe Historical Society (Morgan-Manning House) present “Let’s Do Dinner!” on Friday, June 6.  The evening will start with hors d’oeuvres and beverages at the Alumni House on the campus of The College at Brockport (5 – 6:30 pm), followed by a catered dinner at the Sweden Senior Center (6:45 – 8 pm) and dessert and coffee at the Morgan-Manning House (8 – 10 pm).  Guests are invited to park on campus at The College at Brockport and take the Trolley system, provided by Diamonds Limousine, that will transport everyone to each location and eventually back to the College.

Several local establishments, including 58 Main Restaurant and Party House, Flash’s Tavern, Brockport Auxiliary Service Corporation (BASC), Mahan Discount Liquor & Wine, Java Junction, Red Bird Tea Shoppe, Wegmans Food Markets, Inc., and others have donated the hors d’oeuvres, desserts and beverages. The dinner will be impressively catered by Full Belly Deli of Rochester.

Other highlights include waiter service by the Brockport Riverbats of the New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL) and a silent auction.

A limited number of tickets for this fund-raising event are available for $125 per couple or $65 per person. They can be purchased at Country Treasures (27 Market Street), the Sweden Senior Center (133 State Street) or by calling or stopping by the Office of Alumni Relations at The College at Brockport, 395-2451 (Third Floor, Allen Administration Building).
