Irene Ketonen

 “Participating in the Belize Ethnographic Field School last summer helped me find an interest in immigration and intercultural families, which will be a focus of my thesis. Next summer I plan to do fieldwork in Finland, to study the Sri Lankan immigrant community there. After completing my Master's—hopefully a PhD program in Anthropology. “

Currently enrolled at the University of Houston, MA program in Anthropology
