Anthropology Club

Mission Statement

The Anthropology Club of SUNY College at Brockport exists to provide students of all academic backgrounds and fields of study the opportunity to explore the discipline of anthropology in all its facets: cultural, biological, linguistic and archaeological, through direct participation, democratically-run meetings, and campus-wide activities.

The Club’s mission is to provide quality experiences in the introduction and exploration of anthropology as a social science by sponsoring open lectures, forums, and activities related to the discipline. The Club endeavors to provide educational experiences for the student body and larger college community as well as opportunities to foster increased interest in the department as a whole.
