Dr. Ramsay uncovers clues to ancient past

At the Annual Meeting of the American Schools of Oriental Research, Dr. Ramsay will present her research on the ancient port city of Caesarea Maritima, on the coast of present day Israel

Fieldtrip Fun

Anthropology students went to the annual commemoration of the 1794 Canandaigua Treaty between the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the United States of America. The fieldtrip, organized by Dr. Keating, took place November 11th.

The Minor in Anthropology

The Department offers a general minor for students who have not chosen a career concentration or major, or who simply want a broad exposure to anthropology.

The Minor is comprised of 18 credits and can be easily tailored to complement a student’s major in another field.

Introductory Level Credits
ANT 100 Introduction to Cultural Anthropology 3
One of the following:
ANT 110 Introduction to Archaeology 3
ANT 120 Introduction to Physical Anthropology 3
Electives:
