Leadership Experience
MSG Ciudad entered the U.S. Army on 24 August 1981 and attended Basic Combat Training and Advance Individual Training at Ft. Bliss, TX as a Man-Portable Air Defense (MANPADS) Crew Member. MSG Ciudad’s military leadership education includes the Primary Leadership Development Course (PLDC), Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course (BNCOC), Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers course (ANCOC), and the First Sergeants Course. MSG Ciudad also attended the Air Assault Course and Rappel Master Course.
MSG Ciudad has held numerous positions such as Team Leader, Section Sergeant, PLDC Instructor, Platoon Sergeant, Observer Controller Trainer, S-2 NCOIC, First Sergeant and Senior Military Science Instructor.
MSG Ciudad’s combat experiences include: Operation “Just Cause”, Panama (’89-‘90) & Operation “Enduring Freedom” & Operation “Iraqi Freedom” (‘03-’04)
