DRILL AND CEREMONY

The purpose of drill and ceremony is to teach cadets to be able to maneuver formations from one place to another in an orderly manner; to aid in the disciplinary training by instilling habits of precision and response to the leaders orders and provide a means, through ceremonies, of enhancing the morale of troops, developing the spirit of cohesion and presenting traditional, interesting and well executed military parades. Drill and Ceremony provides for the development of all cadets in the practice of commanding troops.
