Niagara Air Show
A-6 Warthog
On August 28 and 29, select cadets were chosen to attend Thunder over Niagara at Niagara Falls Air Force Base for recruiting duty with 2LT Barney. This annual event normally includes representatives from all four branches of the service, along with special demonstrations by the Navy Blue Angels, Army Golden Knights Jump Team, civilian jump teams, the Jet Car, static displays of various fighter and bomber planes, and an air assault reenactment by the Sky Soldiers
This recruitment effort is coordinated with Alpha Company
1-108th Infantry regiment, and several of the members of the team
were former or current SMP members of this National Guard unit. The
event also serves as a public service to help build public relations
in the community.
