Squad Situation Training Exercises (STX)
The Squad STX lane is designed to evaluate leadership using tactical scenarios. Each Cadet receives evaluations of their performance as a squad leader during this phase. Squad operations builds on and reinforces all previous instruction. Cadets use knowledge of land navigation, terrain association, weapons systems and all individual training taught throughout their time in ROTC.
STX lanes and evaluations are the main focus during a cadet's MS III year as they prepare for Warrior Forge.
