Several departmental scholarships are awarded annually for outstanding studio performance and achievement. Other scholarships are offered to art students by the SUNY Brockport College Foundation. Information about scholarships, financial aid and Federal Work Study opportunities is available through the SUNY Brockport Office of Financial Aid. |
Departmental Scholarships and Awards:
- The Kathy Parker Memorial Award in Art History
recognizes a student who has demonstrated exceptional scholarship
and achievement in art history or studio art and has shown
exceptional ability to work with his or her peers and be an
active and contributing member of the SUNY Brockport community.
- The Ambrose L. Corcoran Art Scholarship is designed
to encourage breadth of intellectual interests and high level
attainment in academic fields beyond the student's major.
- The Jack Wolsky Art Scholarship is designed to recognize
a Monroe County, NY, resident planning to enroll as a full-time
art student or a currently enrolled art major at SUNY Brockport
from Monroe County.
- The Maurice J. Moss Fine Arts Scholarship is designed
to recognize a promising student of fine arts who is committed
to becoming a fine arts painter, printmaker or sculptor.
- The William P. Manitsas Memorial Scholarship in Art
recognizes a student who has demonstrated exceptional
talent and achievement in art.
- The William Stewart Award in Visual Arts is designed
to recognize an undergraduate or graduate student who has
demonstrated integrity, collegiality, enthusiasm and dedication
in the arts.
