The Art Student Association (ASA)

The Art Student Association (ASA) is a student membership organization that has become a significant and integral contributor to the overall quality of the Department of Art. ASA was organized by art students to foster, direct and develop art-related activities that increase the quality of the learning experience. Its funding comes from the Brockport Student Government (BSG) and it is advised by a faculty member in the Department of Art.

The ASA sponsors co-curricular drawing sessions and occasional gallery and museum excursions to New York, Toronto, and Buffalo. The ASA manages the Rainbow Gallery, which showcases student work. Each year the organization sponsors the Annual Student Art Students Exhibition.
